Hey everybody! So, now the trophies from my last trip were transported from Zimbabwe to South Africa... now we have to decide how to do the hippo and the buff.... not really sure about that!

So far, the hippo hunt was the best hunt for me - I´m sure you will have a lot of fun! I had to shoot from the boat.... target was goin up and down and up and down... It´s a great experience.

At the Moment, it Looks like that. On the way are an eland, 2x Impala and a Kudu skull. At the Taxidermist and maybe ready in one year are Buffalo, Hippo, Zebra rug, warthog, waterbuck, blue wildebeest and blesbok. On my wishlist: Red hartebeest and hyena.

Great choice! Good thing is as you are walking around you see plenty of game, and if a good chance is there - take it! I had now 5 safaris in Africa and you´ll always regret the animals you did not hunt, not the ones you got. ;) Your wife surely will have a great time as well!

Black wildebeest are very crazy animals.... I had great fun hunting them, the behaviour is special. Zebra, of course, is a very esthetic animal, it looks great as a mount or rug.

@ Eventually Africa: You will have a great time, Tarek is a great PH and you´ll have a lot of fun! Enjoy your stay, first time is always special. Which animals are you going for?
