Wow, 3 months and I'll be half way through my first safari. This site has been a huge help in preparing for "my trip of a lifetime". I'll be hunting in Kwa-Zulu Natal and possibly Limpopo. Apparently the area I'll be hunting is 66000 acres and very bushy. Does anyone have any pictures of some of...
The main species I'll be after are Kudu, Nyala, Impala, Warthog, Duiker. Depending on how things go, may end up in Limpopo for Gemsbuck, Blesbuck, Springbuck and Hartebeest
Also, the PH recommends taking both soft point and non expanding(for smaller game). Any one know where to start in trying two loads which will shoot the same?
I'm going to S.A. for plains game in May, and am trying to decide on which ammo I should use. I'm thinking I'm going to bring my trusty Rem 700 7mm Rem mag. I do not have the time or patience to reload, so I'll be going with factory loads. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks guys.Skyline I'm planning on joining SCI farely soon.
Africa Hunting.com-My first trip will likey be to South Africa. Nyala, Kudu, Impala, will be on the top of my list. I have never been on a guided hunt before, so this is a whole new ballgame.
