    Thanks everyone for the welcome. Yes, the .458 is very good for moose. The older gentlemen in the hunting team with their 6.5x55's is almost afraid of it. I'm happy to be here. The forum has given me many hours of nice reading of hunting stories and gun projects.

    Hi Been reading here for some years. I have had a plan including me, a water buffalo and my .458 for some time now. Meanwhile while waiting for the kids to grow I will have to settle with the local game here at home.
