anyone know if i can get a new no1 in 300 H&H? looked on the Ruger site and they only list the 9.3 and the 450/400. Have been told by a dealer here that Ruger change up there caliber selection depending on demand. How true is this and if i wanted a 300 am i looking used?? thanks

Well after thinking I would be going with a rem in 375 H&H I ended up trialling the ruger hawkeye in 375 ruger and love it!! Nice rifle. The importer is expecting a 416 ruger which I am interested in trying, but from what I have seen of the 375 ill be going with that option.

Model 70 is a nice rifle indeed, I have the express safari in 458 win mag. The rem is something different. Being synthetic/stainless is not something I would usually get. But this one I quite like.
