The single best thing you can do is purchase a current, bound reloading manual from one of the component or bullet manufacturers. Most experienced reloaders have several. Nosler is a good one that I like.

I think either load will be fine for anything up to and including ol' Ty Rex. You can do the ballistic arithmetic to see which generates greater energy.

I've not hunted with them. The PH I hunted with in Namibia spoke highly of them. Those are some game rich areas, but be prepared to walk if you want nice trophies. Namibia is a very cool country. Very cool.

The issue is much of the newer stuff is export restricted- can't go to China, Zim, etc. I know you say it will be for personal use and you'll bring it back, but you get a nosy Customs agent and you don't have it with you, it can be a serious problem. Just sayin'.
