You are right about that. I’m always in a tree with my little stick and string. Range is limited. And I’ll tell you, a pig is hard to kill with a bow. They are constantly moving, even when staying in the same spot.

Never shot a wild hog here in Texas that I didn’t eat and enjoy. I will say that some are better than others.

Tholo is cool for kudu and eland. No dangerous game though. At least that I saw or was aware of ( Other than leopard) Coutada 9 in Mozambique is excellent for plains game Ele, lion and buffalo as well. That would check all your boxes. Mokore safaris. I have done a plains game hunt...

Hunted a wonderful area along the Umkomass River in KwaZulu Natal. Completely free range. Kudu, bushbuck, impala, Nyala. Mountainous area, lots of glassing across canyons. Beautiful. Also, the Midland Meander is close by, provides a nice break for the missus.

I'm going with a used low mileage 2021 Tundra when its time. Last year of the 5.7 I believe.
