Well , I had two concerns about this ammo , first concern was not harm my firearm second accuracy. To make this Roy’s more effective for hunting I decided to make a little hole on top of the projectile to take care of the expansion .

Persian surplus ammo . I find that powder would be WC852 in two burning rate slow for M1 grand and fast for machin gun . But I don’t know which I have bought.

Recently I decided to buy some surplus ammo dated 1960-70’s in 30-06 , 150 gr. bullet with black flake powder 47 gr.
Any suggestion for using this ammo in my Parker Hale 30-06 rifle . Thanks .
Hi, I recently decided to open a 30-06 mill surplus ammo dated 1940’s and the powder was 47 gr. With 150 gr. FMJ . Just wondering if this ammo would go with my Parker Hale rifle. ??

The 308 & 30-06 are _both_ fine cartridges. That being said, the 30-06 will do anything a 308 will and a little more. If there is an advantage to the 308 it might be the availability of surplus GI ammo.
