The 7xxxx number on the charge card is the Army / navy number, this one was sold by A/N to the Maharaja. You can research the number by the Glasgow University.

9 numbers from mine also went to India and a Maharaja and sold by Army & Navy
Yes! Not heard anything from Glasgow University yet hopefully they have a bunch of info about first owner also. The info above is all from H&H
Funny thing is my only son´ s Mother is adopted from Bombay.
So I have bought a rifle from H&H a 500/465 from 1940
It was made for the Army & Navy store. The Glasgow university hold the ledgers for A&N. I have asked them but It should be a extra serial number from A&N so they can find it in their ledgers. I cant find it on the rifle. The only serial...
Thanks all!
Yes I hunted the bear and wolf in NWT
Camera I left in my HPRC bag outside but took the battery inside. Had 5 batteris and they lasted all 3 weeks and around 2000 photos. The problem with taking scopes, binos and camera inside it will just fog up.
Will go back and see them hunt...
A few words about the hunt
Really liked the company and hunt during this week, very good food and a beautiful camp, great tracker and PH.
Im looking forward going back for a blue duiker and some more of the small ones :) Big thanks Justin and Arc Africa Hunting! And also to Chris Troskie and...
Duiker
This animal had also eluded me on earlier hunts.
We saw several duikers each day but mostly females and very young males and me not so fast with the rifle to get a shot at the big ones :)
On day 4 we found a nice male bedded down and I got a shot away and had my duiker!
Mountain Reedbuck
The first day we walked up and down those hills for 6 hours and had a cat and mouse game with a few reedbucks, a great first day in a beautiful area.
Did not get any shot op that day but was very close. Very short distances and quite thick vegetation made it hard.
On day 3...
Brown Hyena
Justin emailed me a few months before the hunt and said that the area held brown hyenas and that he could apply for a permit if it was interesting for me.
I have taken a few spotted hyenas in earlier hunts and have tried for a brown hyena for 10 years ago in Namibia but failed...
Klippie
Took this guy on day 3 with Justin Cawood and Arc Africa Hunting with the help of Chris Troskie and his beautiful Defender ;). We had been in this area on the first day and Sami (tracker) had seen one Klippspringer but me and Justin did not have the chance to see it. Anyway after a...

Its alot of people living in Pakistan and a few bad apples are making the headlines in the news.
Purple arrow first shot and after that yellow. He was not going anywhere after the first shot but we where hunting a few hundred meters from a border so we did not take any chances.
Well if you feel like that and Jerome and the judges agrees with you they can disqualify my 2 photos.
I don't see it like you do I'm sorry to say.
