I agree whole heartedly with you. I use bullets to suit the game. I’m about to reload my 300 Winchester using Hornady ELD match bullets (208grain) but certainly would not use such on game.
That’s just an example I might add.
I’ll be reloading my 338 Winchester using 225 grain Speer bullets...
I thought 200m was a long shot!
I do long range target shooting but use entirely different bullets.
Use the appropriate bullet for the intended target.
Mind you I certainly wouldn’t use target bullets for hunting.
Yes some unelected foreigner in a foreign country
Now some inbred unelected foreigner etc
Cannot get rid of them
Let’s see old Elizabeth married a cousin
Charles has married a distance cousin
William has married a distance cousin
Diana Spencer and Kate Middleton are related through Anne...
You remind me of the young woman where I buy coffee! Toils her I have a fresh / Flipping pony tails (and she had a long pony tail).
Got a 2 minute non-stop lecture on how inappropriate it would be. I don’t know how or if she breathed!
Bit like a great white coming into a big, big bait...
I relatively inexperienced in the long range shooting but am very interested in such.
Will post some photos soon but what I want to ask is the following:
At what range as in distance does spin drift really start to affect the travel?
Ditto for the Coriolis effect??
My 300 Winchester magnum...
I think the 375 H&H is for big game like buffalo whereas the 338 is for large deer /antelope and big plains game.
I just had my 338 muzzle braked for long distance target shooting using 225 grain Speer bullets.
The 375 - I used 300 grain bullets - sold as I have a 416 using Woodleigh 400 grain...
