Excellent condition with thin German #1 three post reticle. LM Rail attachments readily available. Made in Austria and service is available through Swarovski USA usually free. $460 shipped.
The original Heym Express has a crossbolt at the wrist. It also has a trap door grip cap with front sight tool and extra sight. Three leaf express rear sight, checkered bolt handle, and Recknagel scope bases if any. If you are smaller in statue the long, large forearm may not be to your liking...
Here's another example of an Oberndorf Mauser further finished by J.P. Sauer with plumb finish on the barrel. This is a 100 year old rifle that functions like the day it was made in 30-06.
Very nice. Indeed all original condition built on Oberndorf Sporting Rifle with Greener Safety added. Doubt it was built for Brenneke with makers name on the action.
Newer models have this cap with plastic insert. You have to buy whatever you want to put into it. Same cap on Blaser will fit the Merkel. Gunbroker has a wide selection or if you need a specific send me PM.
I carried a 460 Weatherby for a month moose hunting in one of the largest concentrations of brown bears in the world. Saw at least two dozen and was lights out on the moose. Not even a twitch.

Non automatic safety is the norm for dangerous game rifles. Single trigger normal operation is to cycle safety to fire second barrel. Sounds good to me.
Here's an old Mauser 2000 30-06 I used deer hunting on Kodiak. This 60" fox was shot with a 220 grain round nose. The small exit hole is to the right of the rifle. Minimal damage.
