It was "suggested" AHR is no longer working CZ Upgrades, inflation, lack of demand & CZ discontinuing their 550 doesn't really leave fairly inexpensive options .. I may sadly be mistaken. There's a member here I look forward to talking 'c as he's a wealth of information on this topic. However...

I believe one could become easily comfortable shooting the Jeffery accuratly .. I could only imagine it would easily put down any Big Game without injuring it. Circumstantial of course. But it's an extremely impressive cartridge ..

idk .. there's a 10lb .500 here (never shot)? The 10lb Jeffery is not too bad, but this is all in practice, not field experience. 11lbs .. I agree, I've never seen anything like this, again. VC Eloge.

I contacted Mr. Sells apx one year ago to see if he'd happen to have an 88 in .500 .. he kindly explained there was an 89B coming back. The hunter thought it was too heavy @ 12lbs. I was under the impression "this was it". I may be terribly mistaken.

I've noticed (not only VC's) but High end listings "Sold/Sale Pending". Kebco had some beautiful 450/400's recently on GI @ 20% that are gone, including that Prechtl 416. Australia's distributer has one .600 Looking forward to Mr. Lombardi's imports soon ..

I'd like to ask, understand if it's discreet .. However, if it's Case colored or a grey receiver? There's something to those round body's imo, that are unique unto themselves.

@rookhawk .. could I trouble you for your thoughts. From an investment or/asking cost standpoint on this wildcat? You provided a really good, non-emotional point of view on one in particular, it stuck with me as it still sits For Sale. I understand this may seem completely impractical, however...
