Balls of steel for sure. That guy is an incredible story teller! He actually has a video of him spearing a grizzly, as well as killing a black bear with a blowgun from the ground.
Only thing that I can think of would be to glue it back together and put it on a plaque. Run a screw in both pieces.
If you don’t mind me asking, what taxidermist did you use over there?
I think there should be a review site for outfitters to review clients. If the clients can bash the guides/outfitters anywhere on the internet, then they should be able to return the favor and let other outfitters know what they are getting into.
I've only been on one guided hunt and yes I tipped the owner because he was my PH. I plan to do the same in SA next year because that owner will also be my PH.
We have our first safari scheduled for June 2023 in SA. There will be 4 of us, myself, my wife, our teenage son and our college graduating daughter. Our passports arrived last week and it's time to book our flights. I have a few questions am asking for some guidance as this is the first of...

I do euros on Whitetail and can have them done in 2-3 days including the drying time.
I was thinking that it would be cheaper to stay another couple of days and fly them home with you. But I’m sure they have treatment stipulations that would keep you from doing that.

I was just thinking that some people are on a budget and typically can't afford a lot of full priced animals outside of their package. Do they try to upsell you...
I may have missed this in the thread but I have a question.
How do you tip the PH if he is actually the Owner/Outfitter? Do you tip him the same as if he was a PH working under someone else?
Has anyone hunted with them in the last couple of years? I see that there are a few posts from 2015/2016 and it appears that they used to be a sponsor here. Thank you
