Well…. I’m pretty friendly and I live in the states, so if you have some free hunts, I wouldn’t turn you down. Lol

Only thing that I can think of would be to glue it back together and put it on a plaque. Run a screw in both pieces. If you don’t mind me asking, what taxidermist did you use over there?

I think there should be a review site for outfitters to review clients. If the clients can bash the guides/outfitters anywhere on the internet, then they should be able to return the favor and let other outfitters know what they are getting into.

How far in advance does everyone typically book their flights?

I am in West Virginia. The closest major airports are Cincinnati and Columbus, OH which are both about 3 hours away.

I've only been on one guided hunt and yes I tipped the owner because he was my PH. I plan to do the same in SA next year because that owner will also be my PH.

I do euros on Whitetail and can have them done in 2-3 days including the drying time. I was thinking that it would be cheaper to stay another couple of days and fly them home with you. But I’m sure they have treatment stipulations that would keep you from doing that.

I don’t see why you can’t bring Euro mounts home with you. I guess it’s just a money grab.

How often do prices get negotiated while out in the field on animals that you aren't hunting? Does anyone have any experience on that? I was just thinking that some people are on a budget and typically can't afford a lot of full priced animals outside of their package. Do they try to upsell you...

Seems to be the trend these days. That sucks. Just a question, when flights have to be rebooked, who pays the fees? The travel agent or the customers?

I think it's based more on the service provided versus the success rate.

I may have missed this in the thread but I have a question. How do you tip the PH if he is actually the Owner/Outfitter? Do you tip him the same as if he was a PH working under someone else?
