I had and have more 70s than any other. Love them all. I even had 2 with push feed bolts! Only part of the latest I don’t like is the trigger....

Looking at pictures I don’t see anything wrong. If this was my 70 I would leave it as is (original). Clean the bore and enjoy shooting it.
