No the brass got jammed into the die like it was too small

Need help please. I bought a RCBS set of 470 NE dies. I used only once fired Barnes brass. The die would not take out the spent primer no matter what I tried. Finally it broke. When using the die it would double crimp the brass. Before I buy another die can anyone tell me what is wrong please

I just bit the bullet sorry for the pun and bought 1,000 large rifle magnum primers for $300 on gun broker. crazy! However, with planned heavy reloading coming up to get ready for my Africa trip I am super comfortable I have everything I need to practice away.

I too have the RCBS primer. Worked fine until tried reloading my new 470 NE. Did not work. Just got the new Hornady one shown for my 470 and works great. Thanks everyone! First reloads using the IMR 4955 at 2077 FPS
