    Any Other Interests???

Managing the farm takes most of my spare time. This is a strip of sorghum following the contour down through a longleaf planting to an oak bottom. The work is paying off, quail numbers are outstanding this year.

My brother in law is a naval officer. I won’t share too much, but it is truly disheartening. There was a day not so long ago that Canada was a force to be reckoned with. Somehow our snipers have continued to perform at the highest levels. We can’t say much beyond that.

1968 was a turning point for Canada. It’s hard to believe how far things have decayed since then. Harper did great things to reverse the slide, but Castro has destroyed that progress and then some.

Where Would You Like To Buy Our Products In South Africa?

+1 for Safari Outdoors. No trip to Jo’Burg is complete without a visit. Also, I doubt very much that visiting hunters are the target customer. Who actually travels to Africa with a weapon and no loaded ammunition?

I was in DC for the National Prayer Breakfast when Trump was in office. While walking the Mall ‘Marine One’ buzzed over our heads. The next morning Trump spoke at the breakfast. He was excellent and misrepresented by all the media present, including Fox. A very moving thing happened at the end...

    Longthorne shotguns...what is your opinion?

Longthorne had their demo’s at the Orvis range in Alabama. The Orvis folks asked me to come over and take a look. What they had on offer were very much high end clays guns. The stock designs were not well set up for low gun shooting. These guns are in no way competing with London best. I would...

It is so hard to separate his rhetoric from his intent. If you believe what he says, he’s a disaster on foreign policy. His actual actions while in office were significantly different. One of the best looking rifles I’ve seen, and amazingly accurate. With the scope it shoots in the 0.5 moa zip code. I am extremely pleased with the accuracy I’m getting with Renner’s ghost ring. You stated early on you wanted a mountain rifle capable of handling the heavier game that the 6.5 PRC may be a tad light for. If that is the case, I would step up to the 8x68 with 200 grain bullets. If I had been thinking clearly I would have built an 8x68 S as opposed to the .325 WSM I have. I...
