Hi Guys.

I have no experiance with barnes bullets.

I want to try them but are a bit scared on the velocitys needed for expansion. I want to use a 180gr to 200gr in a 8x60s ( normal weight is 196gr) at around 2600fps. Hunting distances up to 200yrds. Will that be sufficient velocity?

Then also in a 6x45,85gr (243) at 2450fps.

Any one have experience with Rhino bullets at that speed?

Minimum expansion velocity for TTSX

All the TTSX bullets are at about 2000 fps.

Thanks for the info. Is there some formula to determine the impact velocity if you have the weight and muzel velocity?

Thanks guys. It looks like i wil be in the 2200fps range on max distances. For longer distances i will be able to up the velocity. So it seems that i will be fine.

Any experts on rhino bullets? Should be the same i supose.
