Very nice, congrats on the new additions!

Wow! They are all great, but that .32-20, oh my!

i also have a 64 standard in 30-30, i like them over the 94 carbines. for me they seem to just carry better and the longer barrel help my old eyes with a little more volocity.

Some guys have all the luck.....

;)

Ahh, Christmas came early! Congratulations very nice group but, the M71 is really making me envious! ;-)

Awesome collection.. This is my 32-20 my grandpa gave me shortly before he passed away. It was his grandfather’s. At some point my grandpa unfortunately had it nickel plated and the stock “refinished” (whoever did whatever they did, did it very poorly IMO). The rifling is nonexistent. It’s in rough shape.. One day I plan on sending it to Turnbull to see what can be done.

The 348 was the reason behind me getting a 35 Whelen. When I was a y young fella in school I remember reading about how the 348 would penetrate a whitetail from stem to stern. From then on I wanted one but in OZ it is impossible to find one. The 358 Winchester is it's equivalent but I wanted even more hence the Whelen. I still have a soft spot for the 348.
I have a 92 Winchester in 32/20 and it's a great little fun gun.

^^ Yes, the fun one of that group is the Win M 1892 in 32-20. Smooth, strong, miniature M1886 action with a nice little cartridge.

And the M 71- 348 is the serious one with good bullets. Plenty of horse power in a strong, ergonomic package- none better, really, in Win lever gun history. They simply took the great Browning designed M 1886 and tweaked it into the best of Winchester lever guns, IMO. You can even crank it up another notch or two to either 450 or 50 Alaskan! Ouch! my shoulder and cheek hurt thinking about shooting one of those with full pressure loads. I guess there are still a few of the original Johnson rifles around.
