Prince Harry sells his Purdey rifles

My dear friend Ponton.
I couldn't have said it better my self
An English friend said the old take away meal of fish and chips is now replaced with chips and curry. The number of migrants discussed him that much he left England and came to Australia.
This man is in no way racist and nor am I, he just couldn't handle all the changes and longer for the old times when he didn't have to worry about all this bullshit political correctness.
I still open doors for my lovely wife and other gentlemanly things. Even tho she is a non shooter she sees the enjoyment my son and i get from hunting and encourages it. She also enjoys the fruits of the hunt. She loves venison and enjoys a nice mild goat Rohgun Josh.
My son and I are going hunting THIS WEEKEND for some venison and wild pork which she is looking forward to.
Keep safe and well my friend
Bob
It is flat out terrifying , Bob !
I have personally witnessed the " Curry & Chips " phenomenon myself . The British have actually lost their culture . Part of what made them great in the 1st place .
20 years ago , when I had visited Great Britain ... They had excellent steak & kidney pies , practically everywhere . Today , you will find this delicious dish to be far less common ... than it once was .
People these days are publicly making attempts to stop the eating of grouse and pheasant meat ... Because they deem it to be " Cruel " . Radical anti hunters ( Who actually PHYSICALLY harass hunters ) can proudly call themselves " Hunt Sabs " and proudly have their own public web sites . Where they gloat about harassing innocent hunters ( who are simply minding their own ethical business ) . Any rational society would have thrown these filthy " Hunt Sabs " in prison , a long time ago .If anyone ever attempted to sabotage MY hunting ... well , I would make them regret it very quickly .

Disclaimer: I never had a girlfriend. Nobody clicked yet. But even I know what love is and this ain't it.

Take your time young man and choose wisely . We live in a throw away society, even cheap throw a way guns. Wives to a lot of people are if I don't like it I'll try a different one. Sometimes it genuinely doesn't work.
Marriage is like hunting, you only get out of it what you out in. You put in the hard yards you end up with a great results in both.
Cheers mate Bob

I have to disagree with that statement. My wife is a very attractive woman (to me any way) and I have no problems with that. Even tho she is a non hunter she gets great joy out of our accomplishments as we do in what she doesView attachment 347407
One very happy non hunting wife and mother sharing in her son's achievement in Namibia
Cheers mate Bob.
Yes I do consider myself to be very blessed with such a wife.
To all the younger blokes out there these women do exist in the real world.

I’m with you Bob. Just need to find pretty women with brains. These are my best trophies and they all hunt.

Past, present and future? Only time will tell. With thanks to Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band.

Hollywood Nights
Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band

She stood there bright as the sun on that California coast
He was a Midwestern boy on his own
She looked at him with those soft eyes so innocent and blue
He knew right then he was too far from home
Oh
He was too far from home
She took his hand and she led him along that golden beach
They watched the waves tumble over the sand
They drove for miles and miles up those twisting turning roads
Higher and higher and higher they climbed
And those Hollywood nights
In those Hollywood hills
She was looking so right
In her diamonds and frills
Oh those big city nights
In those high rolling hills
Above all the lights
She had all of her skills
He'd headed west cause he felt that a change would do him good
See some old friends, good for the soul
She had been born with a face that would let her get her way
He saw that face and he lost all control
He had lost all control
Night after night, day after day it went on and on
Then came that morning he woke up alone
He spent all night staring down at the lights on LA
Wondering if he could ever go home
And those Hollywood nights
In those Hollywood hills
It was looking so right
It was giving him chills
In those big city nights
In those high rolling hills
Above all the lights
With a passion that kills
In those Hollywood nights
In those Hollywood hills
She was looking so right
In her diamonds and frills
Oh, those big city nights
In those high rolling hills
Above all the lights
She had all of her skills (Hollywood nights)
(Hollywood nights)
(Hollywood nights)
(Hollywood hills)
(Above all the lights)
(Hollywood nights)

This was by far one of the most entertaining things I've read in a while. A bunch of dudes talking crap on "famous" people.

Surprised no one mentioned Megan doing voice overs on Disney's latest elephant "movie." I think Prince William has supported hunting as a means to conservation for elephants, and Megan is giving them "voices" aka supporting anthropomorphism, which as we all know is the gateway drug for crazy anti-hunters.

Everyone tells me not to rush so I just go with the flow. Good advice for any young person IMO

Wives and girlfriends are like fine guns. Life is too short to spend it with an ugly one.

In my opinion it isn’t whether they are pretty or ugly truly, but whether they are high maintenance or not.

And many if not most 9’s and 10’s are VERY high maintenance. YMMV

We started discussing the sale of 2 firearms and are now giving marital advice to 20 something's. So... I was once told (54+ years ago) that marriage is a 50-50 proposition. It is not. If you do your 50% and your wife does her 50%, for some reason, there seems to be at least 10% left undone!! In a good relationship, each has to do more than 50% and DON'T KEEP SCORE!! One other thing: If your right, you don't have to prove it.

Wing shooting, as well as Pheasant, & Fox hunting, have always been a tradition with Royalty, and the Aristocrats. Now that Harry is out of that circle, could be why he is getting rid of the guns?

Mighty fine guns, though.

We both probably know a FEW that have lasted that long but I doubt there's many people aged 50 and under who could say they made 20 years of marital bliss.

Shooting and hunting get in your blood. It becomes part of your DNA, of who you are, not just what you are. One can shoot and hunt almost anywhere so I don't think relocation company to CA caused this sale. We don't know why these fine firearms were sold and all this is just amusing speculation

Both under 50 and 24 years married this year.
Sometimes we even speak to each other.

When I turned 50 (9 years ago) I had been married to the love of my life for 22 years. I don’t know if that counts per your comment, but we are still very happily married. I got one of the good ones!

Been married for 41 years now, she loves going to Africa and lets me hang trophies all over our apartment:D

Right on. One night of bliss can get you a lifetime of misery.

Oops, it was actually 28 years at 50. Math is getting rusty!

I have questions as to why he sold them. Shouldn't they have enough money, he could I don't know loan them or gift them to his brother/nephews, and then use them again if he so chose to? Guns are heirlooms in my opinion, and not to be sold at a whim.
I am actually surprised that she didn't have him destroy them. I am guessing that she didn't want the family to have them either.
