Hope everyone is staying safe and holding up well during this lousy period. I know lots of folks here have safaris planned, what’s everyone doing about their plans? I was booked to hunt with Marius next April but like millions of others my portfolio has taken a big hit. Gonna wait till 2022 to get back to the Cape. Meanwhile I’ve taken advantage of the bad economy to book a desert mule deer hunt in Sonora which due to the economy I couldn’t pass up the price. Hopefully long before December all is back to normal. Going to add a Coues deer also if the opportunity arises.
 
Already had to postpone a trip to Romania this May:( No idea when I can reschedule yet. Good news is the outfitter gave us 2 years to rebook!

Still holding out hope for a trip to the East Cape this August with KMG!
 
I don´t think I will be able to hunt my hippo in September, so, hoping for next year.
 
Me too. Hunt booked, now on hold till further notice. PG, Namibia. Lousy period, good description.
 
My first trip to RSA in April has been rescheduled for April, 2021. Oh well, one more year to practice shooting off sticks!
 
Our family hunt was canceled for the Easter Weekend was going to hunt for the freezer and hopefully bag my first Waterbuck bull. Cannot rebook it this year as they are fully booked and we have no idea when all is back to normal.

Plan B hunt with a good friend of mine in May somewhere
Plan C hunt with same freind of mine in June somewhere

The waterbuck bulls are more expensive there so will go for a wildebeest bull and hopefully when I finally get my gun permit (approved already in Feb) which only needs to be printed I will hunt it with my new 458 lott.

But it's a mess was looking forward to this family hunt would have been 3 families staying and hunting together.
Will rebook for next year Easter Weekend.
 
No plans, right now, I have plenty of vacation saved up. I will sit on the sidelines and see how everything plays out this year. Maybe I will pick up something if the price is right.
I would like to hunt a Sonora mule deer so I’m happy you got a good deal. I don’t have a nice mule deer on my wall.
 
I have June 2020 trip booked with Gerrit at Bos en Dal. Holding out till mid May to decide if it will happen or not. If not will have to move to 2021 more than likely as can not take off work from August thru end of year. We were heading to the Kalahari for lioness and gemsbok then back to Northwest for Buff Cow and Bushbuck. Now uncertain what will happen.

No changes on my end so far..

Ive got a mid July hunt in South Africa scheduled with Bos en Dal.. and I am planning on a week on Kodiak Island in November for deer, ducks, and some fishing..

Will wait a good bit longer before I start trying to change things as deposits are already paid, flights are already booked, and I know outfitters really need to keep as many hunts as they possibly can in 2020..
 
Scheduled and paid for in Limpopo (except trophy fees) for this September. If it doesn't happen, will probably try to push it to 2021, just not sure yet
 
Trying to stay optimistic about NZ in June, if that gets put on hold I'll try and take the family up to Canada for some fishing.
 
The beginning of may with KMG but looking doubtful now airline is already sending emails offering to rebook flights for later. Would possibly try for something later in the year but depends on availability.
 
Still hoping to make it to the Cape with Beans for buffalo round 2 and wildebeests.
 
I should have been hunting in RSA right now. Plans have moved tentatively for late Sept into October for that. We'll see about that. Otherwise I have my usual caribou hunting and drew a mountain goat tag, so my fall is full no matter what.
 
The only thing in question right now is a fishing trip in texas the first week of june. My son, grandson and I are planning to drive then pick up my daughter at the airport in dallas. Ticket already purchased so we'll see how that goes.
Booked plains game in late April 2021 with Henry so that should be ok.
And as of last week booked red deer and roe in Romania in september 2022 with George here in the forum. Super helpful, great price and very low deposit.
