A short intro, a good few years in West Africa and a couple of trans Sahara trips have left their memory tracks still vivid after nearly 30yrs.
Now gunsmithing in UK ,building interesting and workaday full bore, up to and including 404 Jefery on P/H, and 45/70 in Martini guise. Country workshop can fit in most jobs that others find difficult!
Hello artisanforge,
Khomas Highland Hunting Safaris of Namibia, welcomes you to the greatest forum on earth.
On a personal level, I look forward to seeing photos of your rifle work.
If I was stuck with only one forearm forever, it would definitely be a hunting rifle.
By pure good fortune, I was born in a place that makes it easy to own firearms.
By choice, I live in a place that makes it easy to own pretty much any sort of shoulder fired firearm and / or handgun ever created.
I have thanked Almighty God for my good fortune on this topic, countless times.
That said, I have passed through my phase of owning combat rifles and sub-machine guns.
Now, I concentrate primarily on hunting rifles, as well as double barreled shotguns (and some hand guns).
Your mention of Martini rifles has really peaked my curiosity!
Cheers,
Velo Dog.
