Almost New Courteney Selous Boots For Sale

As WAB stated. Jim is one of the best to work with on his products. I cant say enough about how well I have been treated and the many questions I have asked Jim. I now have 4 pair of Courtneys and a set of shooting sticks. Thanks Jim for everything

Mark and WAB,

Thank you so much for your kind words. I love what I do and have the best customers in the world so that makes it easy to treat people in a manner that leaves them predisposed to becoming brand ambassadors like you two. Thanks again!

Jim

Dang, I saw this too late, I'd bought them.
did you sell them out right or return them?

he sold them

I also bought a pair from Jim at the SCI convention - Jim was great to deal with since I needed multiple fittings on different styles due to my odd sizing/preference and I couldn't make up my mind and all the while he was really busy with other customers. The Courteney's do fit different than most boots I own but I'm happy with them. Breaking them in now!
Thanks again Jim @African Sporting Creations (y)

Courteney s can be funny, my first set were tight bought new online in Australia.
I bought a cheap set of stretchers on eBay and wore them some more.
I bought some Courteney patrols after that.
They were a loose fit but they are possibly because they are hand made.
When I got my Selous fitting I wore them to Africa where they wore in nicely.
Now I like them,

Uncle Sauce,

Thank you for your kind words and glad we got you in a pair that works for you. For those of you on the fence, if you order a pair of Courteney boots and submit your size as a US one (as opposed to those of you that already have a pair and would submit the UK size (on logo patch above the heel in the top right and left hand corner) we send out two pairs (second one on the honor system) for orders for larger sizes (above 10 USA) as they are a bit tricky to fit.

For example, I wear a 12 US in Allen Edmonds, New Balance and insulated hunting boots so I should take an 11.5UK but I take an 11 UK and put in a medium insole and wear cushioned Rohner socks to make them fit like a glove. As a general comment, we can fit 90% of folks by taking this two pair approach, adding insoles (sometimes go up a 1/2 size depending on thickness) and varying sock thickness.

One of the big complaints about Courteney Boots in the past was that they were too wide, now that we offer regular width boots in two styles we are selling a lot more of them. Keep in mind we are the only ones that offer regualr width boots from Courteney and you will not find them anywhere else. Once you know your regular width size, we can custom order anything you want (other styles, exotics, etc.) with a 150 day delivery time.

Gale, the owner of The Courteney Boot Company said the only thing more difficult than making a comfortable pair of boots is making a comfortable bra and will have to take her word on that one

Thanks to all of you for your continued support!

Jim

Looking for size 10 anyone? Lol

My feet are funny too, then I reckon. Depending on the shoe/boot, I can go from 9.5 to 10.5. High arch and wide foot I reckon.
I'd love to try a pair before I buy, just ot make sure I get it right the first time.

Just wanted to hop on and let everyone know that I couldn't be more pleased with how Jim at African Sporting Creations handled the situation. He offered to take them back even though they'd been worn, I work retail in the outdoor industry and know how much trouble it is to deal with unsellable returns and so I didn't feel ok returning them. So I told Jim I would just sell them, at which point he said he would give me store credit for any difference in price. I just ordered a rifle sling for the exact price of the credit that he gave me and he didn't even charge me for shipping. All I can say is wow, truly a great company offering products that you cant get anywhere else.
