I started this thread because going to Africa got me hooked on it...that's what I was trying to share.
Others seem to agree, and if you don't that's OK.

Ok, Texas ranchers have relocated "exotic" animals for their monetary benefit, and subsistence (NO OFFENSE INTENDED OR MEANT TO THOSE OPERATORS AND OPERATIONS),.......BUT IT DOES NOT COMPARE TO THE AFRICAN, EUROPEAN, (WHEREVER) EXPERIENCE. Just like a North American elk, prong horn, etc. hunt in Africa could not compare to an actual North American hunt experience!!.
If it's not for the experience, adventure, the memories, the hunting of an animal "exotic" to one's local; then why does anyone of us need to spend $100's or $1000's of dollars to do what we like.....to do....hunt?

But when comparing costs of a North American elk hunt to a big game hunt in Africa; Compare the elk hunt to African animal hunts to include what it will costs to hunt not only in South Africa, but include the costs and types of hunts offered to perspective clients to hunt in other countries: ie. Tanzania, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, etc.
Just saying let's keep our Pro and/or Con threads/posts on topic of the OP, PLEASE.
