I stumbled onto this CZ 550 Safari 375 H&H at my local Cabela's for about what I could get a new one for on Gunbroker (~$1000 US). It has had some work done and seemed like a good deal, so I picked it up.
I'm hoping someone recognizes the work, I am curious who did it. I'm only familiar with AHR and I know it isn't from them.
Cabela's transferred it in from Delaware to my local store after listing it on Guns International (with a Zeiss scope, that wasn't included by the time it got here) and the guy who ordered it didn't take it upon inspection.

They also had a matching .458 Lott, presumably from the same source. I do not believe that gun was sent to CO, but I know they took them in together from an owner in another state (they shared what info they could).

From what I can tell it has had the following work done:
- New front sight and base, no provision for hood
- Barrel re-crowned
- Barrel band sling mount added
- Sling stud on fore end removed and filled
- Fixed rear express sight, no folding leaf provision
- Bolt handle filled, bottom flattened and checkered
- Some type of action lapping/smoothing. Much smoother than my stock .416 Rigby 550
- Cerakote or some similar finish, flat black on all metal parts (great job too, FWIW)
The stock has a couple handling marks, and the Hy-Viz buttpad is crumbling (no surprise there). I have a grind-to-fit Pachmayr sitting here I will get on it soon. All in all very happy with it, seems like a good score for the price.
