I did not. We only had one weekend that she could hunt. I didn’t push her, because elk hunting can be one of the toughest hunts. I believe she will know what to expect next year and hopefully will want to hunt more.

Personally I think it would be interesting to some of the folks here to read about the up and coming hunters and huntresses first hunts whether a morning or afternoon squirrel hunt or a week in the field at home, different state, or in a different country.

I hope to have a couple of good hunt reports. My first will be posted up on my return from South Africa and the second during or after my hunt for bison with gizmo at his ranch.
