4 Wisconsin hunters shot in separate incidents on deer season's opening days; 1 suspect still unidentified
Wisconsin’s Department of Natural Resources is currently asking for any information, “no matter how insignificant it may seem,” that might lead to the identification of a suspect who shot another hunter during the opening weekend of deer season.
The hunter was one of four people who were shot during separate hunting-related incidents over the course of the opening weekend for hunting with guns.
Three other instances of hunters being injured on opening day of the season, two of which involved hunters shooting themselves in the feet – specifically their left feet – when their guns accidentally discharged.

Yeah, it's only twice a year.Thanksgiving and Christmas, then we go hunting and burn it all off. So go ahead and enjoy with a clear conscience.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING to ALL.
Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe holiday!
Growing up and for a long time after, a tradition in my family was for the hunters (the men folk) would gather at the home of where the ladies would be fixing the Thanksgiving dinner/lunch and go hunting.
The women didn't mind as it got the men folk out of their way. And unless it was raining the kids were sent outside to play getting them out of the way. If it was raining either one mom or the eldest of the kids was given the nerve racking challenge to keep all the kids busy and out of the way indoors.
By 11 all were gathered together to share the Thanksgiving meal. Afterwards the ladies would clean up and the men would break off to watch football games on the TV or clean any animals that were killed, usually only a couple of rabbits, or pheasant as proof we did go hunting.
Later on in life, Thanksgiving also became an early Christmas. As we got older and some of us kids were now in the military, we no longer were able to celebrate both holidays, Thanksgiving and Christmas, at home with families and childhood friends.
Some friends never returned home to celebrate another holiday with their families and friends.
While we are gathered together around our Thanksgiving, and I'll include Christmas, meal let's remember the service men and women whom are not able to be home this time of year to celebrate the holidays.
So let's raise a glass around our tables to give a cheer for those present and past that we have some memories to share.

Good morning and HAPPY THANKSGIVING from the Lambart household. The Mrs. has been getting things ready to cook since Monday. As of now the pies are in the oven and the turkey will be going in shortly. I'm sure a similar scene is going on in most if not all of your households or those of your relatives if you are spending the day with them. For a fact, the Lord has been good to us.
