Would you like a Cigar?

Cuban, no brand...
The torcedores are keeping some of their own production in the cigar fabrics, and I have a way to get some
One of the things on my Bucket list, is to go on a Cigar Safari when they have the Cigar festival in Cuba. Cruising the Cigar shops, and visiting some of the Cigar Factories.
Not to mention, filling up a Suitcase full of real Cuban Cigars.

Padron 1964

The saying is 80% of premiums are not worth the money. This 1964 is certainly in the 20%.

This smoke is full of spice and cedar. A perfect burn and long ash. This is a classy cigar for special occasions.

I have maduro version in the humidor still. I suspect that will be even better.

Padrons are my all time favorite cigars, and IMO the Aniversarios are the best cigars ever made. I met Mr. Padron and he was a fine gentlemen, talked to me like if we had known each other for ever. Wish I could afford to smoke them all the time

CAO Flat Heads, full body cigar, with complex taste, and slow burning.

Being a rookie cigar enthusiast, I have become fond of Acid's Kuba Kuba cigars. Haven't found another cigar that has a similar flavor profile but I'm always on the hunt for something new.

Your taste for cigars will change with time. I started smoking Macanudos, and I'd smoke one here and there, but now I like full body cigars. I like the Kuba Kuba's, but I can't smoke them too often. LOL!

It seems that I measure up all of the other cigar brands against Padron.

Check out cigarauctioner.com as they often have good discounts if you're patient.

If you’re into padron... check out the Nica Libre..

You can get them for about $60 for a box of Coronas...

Let them age for 6 months.. then smoke one back to back with a padron 2000...

Almost identical profiles.. for 1/3 the price..

When I was heavy into padron, the nica libre was my “daily” cigar.. it’s what i’d smoke walking the dog, or out screwing around in the yard, etc.... when I wanted something with a great taste.. but didn’t want to burn a $10 cigar that I knew I wouldn’t pay a lot of attention to...

Under crown by Drew States. I always have these & Liga Privadas.

Cohiba Siglo III. Davidoff Escurio, and Yamasa are almost as good, but always dependable. Monte Cristo #2, Cubans, are great, but seem to fluctuate year to year so age them. Hoya's double Churchill is near perfect. Behike's, if you can find them, top everything. Buying in Havana is probably the best, followed by Spain/Hong Kong, and then London (JJ Fox).

30% off site wide at JR Cigars through 11:59PM tonight Eastern. Just saying....

30% off is a great deal. Unfortunately, I've already burned a hole in my credit card this month.

I find if I move my thumb fast enough while typing in order, I can trick my brain into not remembering I just spent a bunch of money two nights ago until too late.

The credit card purchase alerts that I get get on my phone, don't allow me to trick my brain for too long.

Romeo Y Julieta 1875 Nicaragua. What a great smoke, it started a bit short, but mellowed out as I smoked it. Great flavor and aroma.

I would be interested in it if you pass. Please send me the info on the gun shop if you do not buy it. I have the needed ammo and brass.
Thanks,
