Just taken delivery of my re-chambered Kimber Classic 8400 in 30-06 to 300H&H. Goes well with my Select Classic in 300WM.

Nice rifles
Are you collecting all .300s?

Very nice rifle. I have a 300 H&H built on a Kimber action myself.

Not really, the plan was to to get the H&H done and then sell off the Win Mag to Blacks...... But it shoots really well. The Win Mag was proven also on a trip with Marius last year...... Now what to do??????

If you can, keep them all and add a beautiful .308 while you are at it! And a .300 Weatherby Magnum for extra long work... you can always sell them later if needed

I like your way of thinking! @tarbe and I were having this exact same conversation the other day about how many 30 Cal’s we currently own. Turns out it is quite excessive by most people’s standards! Lol

Why not throw in a 300RUM?
And if you don't like it, rechamber it for 404J...;)

Nice looking rifles

Mainly because Marius, Blacks and I have a plan for next year that includes elephant and buffalo......

Cheers,
Mark.

Excellent reasoning.
If you don't mind me asking, what rifle/caliber are you taking for Buffalo and Elephant?
Maybe take one of these 30's as your second rifle for some jackal/baboon/porcupine population control?

It certainly proved itself in Africa mate. A beautiful rifle. One I'll be happy to give a home if you decide to part with it ;)

I will be taking my VC 450NE for close up work but will also have my scoped Model 70 in 416RM if a shot needs to be taken out past 50m. It can also double as my plains game rifle :D
