Mahango Core Area - 2020.jpg

Mukongo Camp is situated in Mahango Core Area which falls within the greater Bwabwata National Park, in the Zambezi Region of Namibia. This forms part of a trans-frontier park, of which 630,000 hectares or 1.5 million acres are contiguous free-range wildlife habitat all within Namibia.

Mukongo Camp is Mecca for anyone that would still like to experience the real Africa, the Africa of yesteryear.

Please send us an e-mail at kowasadv@iafrica.com.na if you are interested in booking a safari with us.

Jacques & Elleni Strauss will be at the Dallas Safari Club Convention in Dallas, TX: 9 – 12 January 2020 at BOOTH NO: 448.

You will see that these prices are extremely fair and most probably a bit below market value.

Kowas Adventure Safaris would like to make it as affordable as possible for you to experience Namibia at it’s best.

Feel free to contact us for references!

Warm Regards from Namibia
Jacques Strauss

You guys have some great hunts set up in an awesome location!

Is the crocodile trophy fee $8,000 or $10,000?

I see both numbers in your original post.

Or is the trophy fee $10,000 and only eight of it is refunded if an animal not taken?

Tim

Dear @tarbe

Thanks for the question...

The Croc Trophy Fee is US$10,000 (refunded if not taken as well)

The US$8,000 reflected price was an error. I apologise for the confusion.

My Best,
Jacques

That's some expensive hunt right there.
I was told that area (originally part of the famous Caprivi Strip) is very expensive to maintain a camp.
When I win the lottery, I’m going there for at least a month as my last hoorah and hunt everything possible! Aren’t I a dreamer?

I like that plan! Remember if you need a gun bearer I'm in!

Dear @shadowhunterz

You are entitled to your own opinion and I respect that...

Like @Ridgewalker mentioned, its very expensive to operate a camp in the Zambezi Region (Caprivi Strip) and besides that, Mukongo Camp is situated INSIDE a National Park and we have very high fees to operate here.

If you would like to make a comparison, hunting here is like hunting Elk in Yellow Stone National Park in USA... Its special and unique. Its an experience you cannot describe. Its hunting like it was many moons ago.

My Best,
Jacques

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed (y)

That would be a fantastic hunt in a great area.

These are all animals taken this season....

All the hippos that were harvested were hunted on land and the croc was a spot & stalk hunt.

SUPERB AREA....
