So the wife, kids, and I were down at the ranch yesterday and this morning. We got a few pics of some animals that would cooperate and stand still. I wish we’d had the big camera with the big lens because we saw a absolute monster of a Red Deer Stag standing on the other side of a Canyon. He was so far away that with a cell phone you really couldn’t see what it was even zoomed all the way in. I’ll try and get some pics of him next time I’m down if I can find him again.

Yessir. I had a great time. It’s actually pretty rare we all get to spend time together anymore. My oldest is in college and is almost always rodeoing on the weekends. My son generally has shoots most weekends, and my wife’s schedule is as crazy as mine. It was a much needed day and a half for us.

Ok, I have to ask......only because I can(y):whistle:....what are the white animals? And is it camera effects or is that one very big piggy?

Any trout in that"pond"?

The white animals are Scimitar Horned Oryx. No camera effect there. That is a very large Eurasian Boar.
 
Pond has largemouth bass, catfish, and bluegill.
 
Think we might be able to have a fish fry? A little surf & turf? Buff and bass, cat or blueg gill??:A Worshipl::P Elmer Fudd::P Fisherman:.:D Beers:
