And the ones wishing for a recession are those dweebs that never lose their jobs in one. They talk like it's some sort of benign abstraction.

Bill Maher, one of the most despicable Liberals on talk television, is one of those people. I would like to meet that guy in a dark alley.

The world is going to be a very different place economically in a very short period of time. We are witnessing history in the making.

"No-one, ever, could take on all these interests. Think about it… The EU, Asia, World Bank, International Monetary Fund, China, Russia, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the World Bank, Iran, U.S. Congress, Wall Street, the Big Club, Lobbyists, Hollywood, Corporate Media (foreign and domestic), and the ankle-biters in Never Trump…. All of these financial interests are aligned against Main Street USA and against President Trump.

Name one individual who could take them on simultaneously and still be winning, bigly.

They say he’s one man. They say they have him outnumbered. Yet somehow, as unreal as it seems, he’s the one who appears to have them surrounded.

Incredible."

President Trump is a past master at negotiating. He's done it most of his life and has a knack for making people see things his way. Notice how NK has quieted down since Trump's visit. What he said in public and what happened behind closed doors are two entirely different things. Reading between the lines I think one could surmise that he told that little twit if he didn't straighten up we'd blow his country clean off the map. With all the fire power we have in the Pacific any missile NK shoots will be knocked out before it ever reaches apogee.
When it comes to economics, defense, world affairs or anything requiring negotiation he has probably forgotten more than all of congress combined. Comparing congress to Trump, if all their collective brains were dynamite they couldn't blow one nose. They've proven that innumerable times over the years.

So true!

Advisors for Trump discussing dealing with the Fed:

Since WWII, Denmark has relied on America for a significant part, if not the majority of it's defense of Greenland.
..........

We have been fighting with those Danes for years. Creeping onto Canadian soil (rock) and planting the wrong flag. Color is right, they have to get the design right.
It's been a costly affair to; Bottles of a good Canadian Rye can be pretty pricey.

There's a 1.2-square-kilometre rock near the tip of Ellesmere Island, Nunavut, called Hans Island. Denmark says it's theirs, while Canada is pretty convinced it belongs to them.

In the 1970s, the countries agreed to disagree — stopping the maritime boundary at the water line on the south shore, hopping the island and starting the line again on the north side.

Since then, visiting military ships have battled it out, placing their flag and a bottle of rye whiskey or Danish schnapps to stake their claim.

"Whenever you get people together, especially people who are friends and neighbours and like a drink or two, they come up with ingenious ways of indicating what's theirs or not," said Alan Kessel, a legal expert with Global Affairs Canada.

The Dem candidates quickly got off of the "I want a recession so Donald Trump is defeated" bandwagon. That dog doesn't hunt and it's backfired on them. Latest figures for car sales is still in the 17 million a year range and going strong with average prices up. If that's the harbinger of a recession, it's a new one to me.

"All of those nations who were counting on Chinese purchases are now going bananas. This is why the multinationals blame Donald Trump… and to make matters even worse – the U.S. economy is thriving, while they watch from the sidelines. It’s a delicious dynamic".

Oh yeah baby!

It's pretty funny how the globalists act and how easy they are to spot.

I read an article yesterday where a billionaire hedge fund owner said there was a 25% chance of a recession this year. The strong implication was that the recession would be in the US. Uhm.... Gotta have 2 quarters of negative GDP and not a single source has said 3Q will be negative, making a recession this year impossible here.

What he really meant was a recession was likely globally, or in large parts of the world. Why? Because Trump has stopped funding global prosperity at US expense. The things that were discussed early in this thread (and why it was believed by many that the world hated Trump) are happening.

Here is to continued success by the President and to a future where free trade actually exists !

Not one country has taken Trump up on his eliminate all tariffs proposal. They're too scared.

We are the ones losing in this war. They get good rye. We need to drink there damn schnapps. Who drinks schnapps? I'm insulted and think we should launch nukes for this travesty...... Lol

  • BREAKING: Trump ends US-China trade war; swaps Hong Kong for California in an unprecedented deal.

    trade_deal.png

Washington DC—After months of growing trade tensions between the US and China leading to an impending global recession, along with mounting strife in China’s Hong Kong province prompting dissidents to wave American flags, US President Donald Trump has negotiated quite possibly the biggest deal of his life

  • The US will trade the entire state of California for Hong Kong in a flat exchange.

“Basically everyone in California wants to be Commies and Hong Kong wants to be American, so we did what we call a win-win-win and traded the two in a tremendous deal,” Trump said in a press conference announcing the unprecedented agreement.

Markets responded with a complete turnaround from recent declines and posted record numbers.

Californians and Hong Kongers were dancing in their respective streets—Californians happy about the 1-child-only policy and being run by a socialist government.
