SOUTH AFRICA: Another Incredible Adventure With Limcroma Safaris

Sounds like a great hunt. I love the unique critters you took.

What a great hunt and report. Thank you for sharing the adventure! I can't wait to set foot back in Africa.

Congratulations to you and your wife. Amazing animals and I especially love the cats and other night critters ya'll hunted. Looking forward to our second safari with Limcroma in the near future. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Reading this makes me wish I was going now. Booked a week with Limcroma in May 2020. Hope to do a combination rifle and bow hunt. At 80 this will be my first African safari. Guessing I saved the best for last. Well done! Terrific trophies.

Thanks Edward. I never really considered RSA. as a landing spot. Hunting for almost 70 years, this has never been a goal of mine until we booked it. Now we are wishing that we were in route. We got involved in early March and booked a week later. Just hunting plains game, and have a seven animal wish list. I have read everything that I can, and am wishing my life away at this point. Appreciate your response, Bob

Fantastic report Ross and Dana! Thanks for sharing your second safari with us. I am very jealous of the honey badger and the civet cat. They are #1 and #2 on my list on our next Limcroma trip.

Thanks for such a detailed report. I have hunt with Limcroma booked for April 2020. My stepson's first Africa trip and my 6th. Especially appreciated details of honeybadger and other nocturnals--they hold a lot of interest for me.

@Ross Reamy

I just re-read this report and I must say it was just as impressive the first time I read it...! Great write-up and congrats again on a fantastic variety of African critters! On behalf of the entire Limcroma Safaris team, thank you so much for taking the time to post and share your safari experiences with the AH.com forum. (y)

Dan,

The pleasure is all mine. I feel like it would be a disservice to Limcroma and AH.com if I didn’t do a report. Not to mention it’s nice to go back and re-read it myself to keep the details fresh in my mind.

Can’t wait to get back, there’s a buffalo out there somewhere that outta be just right for the taking by the time we make it back.

Ross

I'm glad you had a great time, I hunted with Henno and Andres a few years back and got some great Trophies as well. Hannes has a great operation, and I highly recommend them. I want to go back soooo bad, they have a great staff, all the PH's are fantastic. But Henno and me really hit it off, he's fun to be with, I learned a lot not only about the game, but the fauna, and so much more. Andres is one unbelievable tracker as well. One of these day's I'm going back for Cape Buff!!
