Heym Model 33 Drilling for sale. 7x65R 16/70 with .22 Hornet insert. Drilling has a 1.5-6x42 Zeiss Diavari on a swing mount. I bought this rifle from the sales manager at the Heym factory (he is the Nephew of the last living Heym founder's Grandsons). The Drilling was completely gone over at the Heym factory before I bought it. It was lightly used for hunting and has some wear on the stock and barrels but is in overall excellent shape. No cracks, gouges or large scratches. All serial numbers match as the Drilling is all original.

Asking $4000 or best offer.

I can send more detailed pics if interested.

Another fine drilling! Have you shot it? Is it stiff enough to be accurate?
Oh I’m envious! Someone is going to get a fine drilling!

Shot it at the factory when i picked it up. Shoots great.

Someone has been reposting these pictures under different forums, if you are interested in the rifle please PM me.

Lovely gun, and very versatile set of chamberings! Good luck with your sale...

Mark, what length are the 16 ga chambers! 2 1/2, 2 3/4?
How is it choked?
Do you know the weight without the 22 Hornet insert?
What year was it manufactured?
Thanks!

Hi,

Sorry in the middle of moving. Give me a fewd days to get settled in and I'll send you the info.

Ugh! Man I’m sorry for you! Not the best weather to be moving in at 98f! But I guess no weather is good to move in.:(

I picked up the gun from my FFL last week. I love this thing! Shot the 16 gauge and 22 hornet and just played around fondling it;)

The 7x65R ammo showed up today, unfortunately I had left on business (and perhaps a little hunting) for a week, or until I get back:)

Can hardly wait to get home to see if the 7mm and .22 regulate.

Thinking it may need to get to Africa for some night hunting....

PERFECT task for that! Maybe add in a little bird hunting as well? With the 7x65R you’d be ready if a fine warthog or something else showed up while bird hunting!

Envy, envy, envy! I was trying to figure out how to swing this and still finance mine and the granddaughter’s trip to Africa. So glad you got it ActionBob, ‘cause I’m sure you’ll let me play with it some time like maybe at Gizmo’s for quail and hogs? Buddy! Pal! Chum!:rolleyes::whistle:

Hmmmm...besides I already reload 20ga, .222, 7mm-08 for granddaughter and .223, .243, 30-06, 300 WM, 375 H&H and 12ga for me. I don’t really need 3 more cartridges to reload.o_O
