Can you guys recommend a few good outfitters in Mozambique? Looking to hunt there in 2020.

Mokore hunts in Coutada 9. I have never hunted their concession in Mozambique, but have hunted both of their concessions in Zimbabwe and they are a first class outfit. We are planning a third hunt in the Moz. concession in 3 years.

No first hand experience but see Zambezi Delta Safaris all over the TV. Big celebrities speak highly of them, just received the new wild lion releases? Seeing and hearing them would be a bonus.

@McDonald Safaris has a very good reputation with their Moz hunting and is a sponsors on this site. I've met and talked with them at the Houston Safari Club show.

I have hunted twice with Grant Taylor and Mashambanzou Safaris https://www.mashambanzousafaris.com/ . Can't recommend them highly enough. Grant is based out of Beira and hunts the Zambezi Delta region for buffalo and coastal PG (suni, duikers, sable, Linvingstone eland, etc). He also has concessions on the north side of the river for Mozambique's western PG species, monster croc, etc. I did an article of the first hunt in African Hunting Gazette which provides some detail and color. I will second, I spent 15 days there last September and C9 is a pretty amazing place. Plains game hunting is unbelievable, Kudu, Reedbuck, Oribi, Sable, Waterbuck, Lichensteins Hartebeest, Nyala and more abound in this area. Warthog are literally everywhere. Elephant, Lion and Buffalo will be seen. The Duckworths will take good care of you, do some checking, plenty of good reviews

Give Dave Langerman a chat, I hunted with Dave in Zimbabwe last year and can’t recommend him enough! He hunts both Zim and Moz.

I second the above recommendations for Zambezi Delta Safaris. Hunted with them in 2016 with Leo Van Rooyen as my PH. Cape Buffalo and nyala. Leo was great as were the accommodations and service provided by the Haldanes of Zambezi Delta. In addition got to observe some of the anti-poaching and conversation work done by the Haldanes. Your money is going to good use with these folks!
