Here's what they do in the U.S. when a female on public assistance complains to the social services department she doesn't have enough money. They tell her to have another kid. I saw a guy on TV once that said "If you subsidize something, you get more of it" and we sure as hell are getting a lot more of it.

That one is in only about 20-30 feet of water. The one I'm trying to recall was in about 300' of water, off of MD/VA/NC if my memory serves.

Also, the current crop of Henny Pennies seem to be warning of 1-2 meters of sea rise over the next century. That certainly doesn't fall outside of the *avg* sea rise of about 1 meter every 60 years or so between 16000BC and 7000 BC; and it certainly doesn't "rise" to the level of taxing us into penury. Funny how all of these so-called disasters always grant more power to governments, and strip us of more and more of our liberties.
 
If the weather forcasters cant even get our daily weather patterns forcast right why are they gven so much credence in forcasting the weather patterns (and the results fifty years from now)
 
Well, it doesn't really matter what they forecast 50 years from now. Even if, and that's a BIG "if," we are the cause of warming, what we are doing is indistinguishable from what has been occurring for 4.5 billion years.
 
Climate and weather changes constantly every day all day. I think it's like the weather weenies say,"Got a 50-50 chance of being right," and most of the time they WAG it. They see satellite pix of weather hundreds of miles away and try to guess what it will do when it gets here. Too many variables in ocean currents, wind, terrain, jet stream, etc to be very accurate.

I'll see if I can find something on it. This stuff fascinates me as these discoveries are literally re-writing human history. The Europeans were here first. Who woulda thought?

He was on suicide watch. I guess from the Clinton's perspective, what that really meant was to watch him until the time was right to suicide him.
 
Way to many rumors at the moment on Epstein to know what happened. Hopefully in 48 hour we will have better facts.


My general thoughts are:

If Epstein attempted suicide two weeks ago, why wasn't he under 24 hour surveillance?

This is the second extremely high profile federal inmate to die in BOP custody in the last year. After Bulger, you wonder how Epstein could have been allowed to remain unguarded 24/7.

Would an inmate of Epstein's stature be better off being held at a military installation under 24/7 guard? Especially after his first suicide attempt.


Hopefully this death will have no effect on prosecution of people who have taken advantage of minors. Also, hopefully we will still find out who the money is behind Epstein that allowed minors to be taken advantage of. If it was all blackmail money fine. If it was governments using Epstein to blackmail, then hopefully that comes out as well.

Where is Gislane Maxwell right now and is she under any sort of protection.

RE Epstein: I'm betting a few very powerful people are heaving sighs of relief. I wonder if the guards in charge of his "suicide watch" should be worried. My guess is they were paid off.
 
Wonder if the BOP psychiatrists that released Epstein from suicide watch are on suicide watch.:sneaky:
 
Wouldn’t surprise me at all if the guards and psychiatrists are so distraught about this happening on their watch, they may be contemplating suicide as well. :rolleyes:
Yup, wouldn’t surprise me at all if they crashed their expensive new car into the East River or some such thing...
