Just acquired today (8/6/19) a used Kimber 375 H&H that appears to be in very good shape. $1,475 USPS money order. Includes shipping to lower 48.

Traded two S&W 44's for it and only lost about $125 in the process. My normal gun deal result, lose money !

Any details?

Like the ad said, I just got it on the 6th. I traded two new S&W 44'S that I had for sale since May. I still have a few handguns for sale on this site.

The flat out truth is I can't even promise it will go "bang". It hadn't occurred to me I should add to the round count and test it at the range. Maybe I should......

So if it’s like a hocked gun at pawn shop... if that’s case, you know not much about it...... then I wouldn’t suspect you will get near asking price. Good luck sir.

Just had a guy ask me about the Talkeetna, wanted to know how many rounds, accuracy etc.
Do you always test guns you're trying to sell ?
All the guns I sell are one's I bought for myself, and for some reason or another have decided to part with. So, by default, I always test fire them. Since your Kimber is a 375, I highly doubt it's been shot all that much. So, if it looks good, I'd say you're good to go.

Well if you must know, it came from First Stop Gun in South Dakota. Look them up on the internet. Been around for a while.

For some reason your "good luck" doesn't sound sincere......

Nah man.... just trying to get the whole story on the 375. Many on here know I sold mine a while back. Been kicking myself since.

So if I’m going to drop a lot of cash on something I can’t see, hold, touch to a guy I’ve never met. Yes, I’d like to know more.... call me “crazy”.

I really like the Kimber Talkeetna. Looks clean.

As for why you traded 2 NIB box S&W’s, only to lose money on, on a gun you don’t have much intel on, is certainly a gamble.

And no sir, no sarcasm. Like I said. I’ve been on the prowl for a 375 or I would have not even clicked.

I don't blame you for being cautious. That's why I only accept USPS money order as payment. Haven't heard of those being counterfeited.

Some cashier checks have been though. Armslist is LOADED with scammers. 75% or so of inquiries I received from there were fraudulent.

I bought almost $10k worth of handguns in May thinking if I could beat Cabelas and Sportsman Warehouse prices by advertising in 3 national sites maybe I could make $800-1000 in a couple months. Horrible decision. The 4th gun is going out this week at a small loss. Paying back my credit card......

Not moving well at all. Maybe I should check the Talkeetna at the range. My Browning 375 is showing to be of little interest to buyers as well . I honestly don't know how dealers handle used guns that show defects. Factory problem ? I've seen some dealers say not to return items to them, but to the manufacturers .

PARA45 (I think) is the only guy I recall selling anything to on this site.
But you do have me thinking, I would be VERY unhappy to pay for something defective from anyone. I will adjust my ad.

I’m with you .... I know @PARA45 he’s a Supergood dude.

Like I said. Totally interested in get back into that gun. Just ask @cpr0312 I was mulling his.

I just have to be obsessed with details on making big purchases.

By the looks of if from pics.... I love!

It's a Kimber. It's a synthetic stock. It's stainless steel. It's a 375 H&H. Not very prone to being shot very much. Not much risk in my opinion.

Excellent price for a light reliable Winchester Model 70 clone. I’m sure with the right loads (like most rifles) it will shoot very well. Kimber has an accuracy guarantee I believe. This is an ideal rifle IMO for coastal Alaska work. Fine looking too.

I got the Browning Stainless Stalker 375 when on very short notice prepping for Alaska. But for quite a few years in WV if you wanted to firearm hunt deer accept having to hunt in rainy weather. I used my Kimber Montana and a 700 Remington Stainless for the last 25 years.
