My wife and I spent a few days down in Tavernier (upper keys) recently with my family and a few of their friends. We enjoyed great weather, and some really good fishing all around with my buddy Capt. Lee on the charter boat Jackpot. Here are a few of the highlights.

Some delicious fish! I’ve spent time kayak fishing in the bays near Sarasota and Bradenton. Some of my fondest memories!
 
I smell fish on the grill. Awesome time I am sure! Congrats on the family time.

I lived in Homestead, and I miss the water, and fishing. No such luck in Middle Georgia. :( But, we have good size deer. :)
 
I’m jealous! My wife and I spent part of a day in Key West last week as part of our anniversary cruise. Fishing was on MY list of things to do but time didn’t allow for it.

On the ocean side just off Tavernier... Yellowtails are solid on both Pickles and Molasses reefs.

Great reed, but unfortunately I have terrible memories of Molasses Reef. When I was station at Homestead AFB, we dove MR, and lost one of our divers. He drowned in 20 ft of water. Terrible day.
 
I lived in Marathon for two years and use to fish on the Gulf Side if my Neighbor was in town,, if not I'd just get on the Marathon Lady with all the tourists, ( a bad day Fishing is still better than working)
