I've sent a few youngsters out for snipes. They usually come up empty handed but not empty shorted.

I’ve Snipe hunted. Used to do it quite often, they are challenging targets, lots of dips and dives. When flushed they often circle back, giving you more chances to shoot. Yes they are a real game bird...

I had one of those damn booking agents try to talk me into a nighttime hunt on a fenced area....I told him nothing but a free range hunt....he didn’t call me back.
