Denny here from Michigan. I've been to Africa 3 times and frequently visited this site for info to increase my knowledge of hunting African game. I finally decided to join.

In fact it was this site that convinced me to shoot a Cape Eland. I always thought that they Eland was boring in spite of the fact that I needed one to complete a Spiral Horn Slam. But members of this site pointed out the great attributes of the Eland and I was convinced that I needed to take one.

I loved the Eland that I took and now wouldn't object to another.

Great information on this site from a bunch of great hunters.

Welcome aboard Dennis. I live in Southeastern Michigan, where do you live? I've taken two Eland, one is hanging on the wall the other is at the Taxidermist's. How about writing up your hunting report and post photos of your Eland and any other animal taken during your recent hunt?

Dennis, you are correct, Art Lambart II is my oldest son and a hunting buddy for over 40 years. This year, his son will be handling the shooting chores during Michigan's Youth Hunt in September.
