My taxidermy work is being completed shortly in Joburg. I will be shipping completed mounts, by boat, back to the US.

Who does everyone use for their shipping? I have used a couple different ones in the past but have not been overly pleased with pricing or service!

Thanks

Hi Mallard!

We are a licensed US Customs Broker and would love to help you with this process. We have a few different options for transit and can also clear your shipment at any US Fish and Wildlife port of entry here in the United States. If you are available for a quick call i'd like to find out a bit more about your shipment so we can tailor your shipment directly to you.

Congrats on your hunt!

Tom

I will be using @TROPHY SHIPPERS in the future. I met them at SCI and their experience with not only trophies but other import business impressed me.

Ditto, call Tom, let him deal with it. He took care of my daughters trophies, getting them home, delivered to our house, and I'll be using him again on the next trip.

I’m using SSI at taxidermist requests..... they would/should know best. @gizmo. Been very good at keeping me apprised.

I would suggest that you upgrade to airfreight. Turkish Air is fairly cheap.

I ve used Coppersmiths and was satisfied. I ve used SSI too. I have used Fauna and Flora and again was satisfied. This time I went with Hunters Int'l and too be honest so far I am not too thrilled with their communication at times. But we shall see. I may give Trophy Shippers a try for my next safari.

Shipping by boat???? Can you share the details? You will have to pay trucking from landlocked Joberg to some port city, load on ship, goes to a US port and pay for trucking to final destination. I think you will find airfreight is much more direct and is cost competitive.

I would be interested in it if you pass. Please send me the info on the gun shop if you do not buy it. I have the needed ammo and brass.
Thanks,
