Half Moon Club Pictures

Maybe I had licked my finger, stuck it in the sand (conveniently located on the shooting table as a first aid accessory) and was about to pack it in my wound, to stop the bleeding ?

That would count as rubbing dirt in it for sure

From Wikipedia
Traditionally, the area between the eyebrows (where the bindi is placed) is said to be the sixth chakra, ajna, the seat of "concealed wisdom". The bindi is said to retain energy and strengthen concentration.[8] The bindi also represents the third eye.

Seems about right... :E Rofl:

Yeah, I'm a member of the club too...

Do not belong to this club and hope not to join.....but you never know! I've been whacked by a scope but never any damage done.

One bumped head rifle nut to another, considering which forum you belong to, I'd say damage was done.:A Bonk:

I offered to tape his pillow onto the rear of the scope but he wouldn't listen

They say (whomever "they" are) that, at first we take care of our children and at the end, our children take care of us.
It's already happening to me, even though I can still chew my food and I sometimes know what day it is.

Definitely a birth control device, you would never get laid wearing one!

You might if you walked through the alley, behind Anchorage Bus Station.

You're still using a fork without a cork on the pointy end. You're still doing good

Danny,

Thanks, for your vote of confidence.
Now, perhaps you can convince your brother to let me out of my room in time for lunch.

Cheers,
Ruprecht.

Gemsbok! And yep, that’s a scope mark. Lol

It was late afternoon when we found them. She was standing in a tunnel among the mopanies. She was about 100 m facing me full frontal. Shooting from the standing position I pulled the shot slightly and of she went. I sprinted after her for 200m and then I had a snap shot. That is when the .375 Ruger bit me.
On the first photo I look like a smiling popo. I presume it was relieve that I could fix my b----- up and that my meat did not end up as jackal supper. Or maybe it is because I wanted to pass out after my sprint On the second photo I am glad that the tracker had ears else his smile was right around. You can see in the back ground that the sun has gone down.

How to avoid Weatherby kiss:

1.) hold gun firmly
2.) squeeze gently
3.) Make sure gun was built with modest recoil, usually not a weatherby
