"Artistry" is what we do, that why it's in the name
We are artist and use taxidermy as our medium.
Your mount is our canvas and we use every tool any artists uses.
We are Sculptors, and use the skills every flat artist uses.
Take this ROAN, We posted it a week or so ago.
Their is a saying in this business when it comes to your trophies....
"You got problems you wouldn't understand and you wouldn't understand the things we do to fix them." All you need to know is, We strive for perfection tho we will never attain it ,but in that quest we will achieve Excellence.....
After these skins go thru 2 saltings, Chemical dips to leave africa, Acid soak for days at the tannery. Neutralizing in Baking soda. You don't think all the color comes out of the hair? It does and badly.
And then all the scars skinnng cuts, marks from dragging across a cement floor. The battering of the skin in the metal tanning vats and scars from everyday life . The color of the hair lost, it's vibrance and dulled to bland. Nothing like when he was harvested....
We spend the time unlike thousands of others that don't see what we see as artists...
Take a look , we do this one every mount. Kudu Roan Sable we reclaim the color and LIFE they had in them to day you took them out of the wild...

Before and Afters....

Fantastic work!!! I can hardly wait for you to create art with mine!

How about patches of hair that’s missing on old bulls? Do you just touch them up to blend in the colors?

You can't patch african game, to short of hair and stitched will show to a degree.
We simply, well not simply, paint in hair , match colors and blend
Takes hours but our mounts are worth it
Big Kudu in bad shape
Before and After and it IS the same KUDU

That’s crazy how great the after pictures look! I know mine had a decent bit of hair missing when I took him. I can’t wait to see how beautiful they are when your finished!

WOW, amazing work! (y)(y)(y) There is no comparison between the taxidermy assembly line type of work that I got from Highveld, to your work. They definitely took me for a ride.
