This is the most accurate projectile in my Vanguard .300 Weatherby.
Who has used this projectile and what game have you used it on ?

My absolute favorite bullet of all times. I can’t speak for the Weatherby as I don’t care for Weatherby mags ( not saying there is anything wrong with them just a preference thing) but..... out of my 308s, 30-06, and 300WM the 165 TTSX is amazing. I’ve killed everything from whitetail, mule deer, and hogs to the ________(fill in the blank here) exotics. Between myself, my kids, guides, and clients this is probably the most common and without a doubt most effective bullet I have experience with and the TTSX is the only hunting bullet I load anymore.

My go to projectile in the 300WSM. Taken scores of Sambar stags here in Australia as well African plains up to and including Giraffe.

I have used that specific bullet precisely once and taken a Sable.
Accurate and effective.

That bullet out of my .300wm has killed over 17 plains game animals up to and including eland. In the states the biggest was a Kentucky Elk. Great bullet and if it shoots accurately out of your gun use it for everything.

I used the 168 grain bullet in a 30-06 to take eight animals in Namibia. Smallest was a springbok, largest were two kudu and a zebra. None went more than a couple/few paces.

In a 300WSM used it to take zebra, waterbuck, warthog, springbok, diker, all one shot kills and it is very accurate in my R93 where it really dislikes 180gr bullets of any make. But that said I don’t need any heavier weight the way the 165ttsx works.

With that bullet...

Impala
Blesbok
Gemsbok
Blue wildebeest
Zebra
Warthog
Another impala
Sable
Kudu

Tons of TX hogs
A couple of white tail
Cow elk

It’s the only projectile I load for all of my 308’s, 30-06, and 300 H&H

So far only used the Barnes 165TTSX out of my 300 WM on two animals. A Texas Dall a little over 200+ yards and a coyote at 18+ yards. Both at Gizmo’s. I switched to it after good success with the 150 Barnes TTSX in my 30-06. It will be used for antelope, mule deer and elk this year if I draw tags.

By all means they have proven themselves to be highly effective on game and I’ve yet to find a rifle that doesn’t fly them down range very accurately

Oops! The coyote was at 180+ yards. For such a bullet to expand so well at that distance in a coyote’s chest, I was amazed!

Some of it is in seating depth. For whatever reason I have found the TTSX likes a little bullet jump

I’ve found that with all Barnes TSX , TTSX and solids like a little jump also helps reduce pressure spike.

This is all my dad uses in his .30-06 Remington Semi Auto rifle . Taken more white tails with that bullet than l ever did with my .22 Savage High - Power , my .375 H&H or my 10 gauge Browning .
