Interesting documentary on the history of the Bubye Valley Conservancy.

I read that changes are coming with new owners.

I read that changes are coming with new owners.

Do you have a link with the changes or you can send me a PM?

I hunted next door to the Bubye on the Drummond Ranch twice last year with @Nyamazana Safaris and there is a small section of the double fence along a portion of border.

I hunted the BVC in ‘13 on my first safari. An incredible place. Great to learn the history.
We saw the rhino conservation project first hand. We also saw 17 lions and had lions roaring near our camp every night.
I hope the changes are positive.

Thanks for sharing

why change perfection???

New owner: Holch Anders Polverson of Denmark

Googled Holch Anders Povlsen and see he owns ~220,000 acres in Scotland and has a passion for conservation. He states he wants to "re-wild" the land. Not sure how hunting fits in his plans. Did not see any mention of the BVC, but it woulld seem that it fits into what he is trying to do elsewhere. He also owns land in Romania, to preserve wolves, bears and lynx.

Regrettably, three of his four children were recently killed in the Easter bombing in Sri Lanka
