Fake news alert: How the truth on Namibia’s successful Community Wildlife Conservation was twisted. On February 26, 2019 Mongabay.com published an article called “It pays, but does it stay? Hunting in Namibia’s community conservation system” written by John Grobler, complete with photos, graphs, statistics and even a video. What they leave out is this is an editorial, not a fact based non-biased new article. Along with the blatant omission of the word “editorial”, they leave out who paid for John’s time and what their published goals are. These are key facts to understanding the intent on this very incomplete one-sided story.
