He does post some worthwhile items now and then but on the forums I subscribe to, he/she would have been banned/gone long ago.

Do I remember correctly, was there a fundraiser awhile back when they fell on hard times a few years ago? I do remember donating to some sort of cause for a PH in RSA. At any rate, will do the same again. This guy can't seem to get a break.

You know I'm not sure I've ever interacted with you here on AH. So this may be the first, I hate that it will be a negative. So far I've not seen one poster blame the buffalo. You're the only one talking about the buffalo being blamed. So I'm not quite sure what your issue is. Are you a poor reader or are you just trying to stir up shit and using this unfortunate event to do so? It sure is coming across to me and others like it's the latter, if so, a sure move of a dick.

I have never hunted buffalo, but hope to some day. If I ever do, my greatest fear would be getting my PH or others injured or worse by my poor performance. Not sure how one moves on from that.

Sincerely hoping that this man recovers fully and quickly.

Yes.... A tornado hit Bossie's house three or four years ago. We did a fundraiser for that.

Some people make the world a better place just by being in it.
Others make little or no positive contribution what so ever.
I refuse to waste time or emotional energy on those miserable, hateful souls who couldn't conjure up a positive thought if their lives depended on it. What a miserable existence it must be.

Thoughts and prayers for Bossie's speedy recovery. This man has endured more hardship in the last few years than many of us do in a lifetime. I hope he is back to hunting soon!

As a side note. After the tornado, Bossie worked the offseason's out of the country and away from his family for extended periods of time to help rebuild the family finances. It's not like he is lazy. Bossie works his butt off. He has just run into a timeline that would challenge Job.

This is an open question to everyone. DSC has their Frontline Foundation to help PH's and their families that are injured or killed. Does anyone know how this works or how to submit candidates?

SCI has a similar organization. Does anyone know how that works or how a person would become a candidate to receive funds from SCI?

For DSC at least the requirement for help is that the PH be a member of the local professional organization, in this case PHASA. I don't think Bossie is a member.... Def worth checking into though. I don't know anything about SCI's version.
