I'm praying for him. Bossie is a good guy. Hope we hear good news soon and that he has a speedy recovery.

Hope each new day brings Bossie closer to a full and speedy recovery, you are in our thoughts. Thank you for keeping us updated @Royal27.

@Royal27 have you heard the extent of the injuries yet, I have not

hoping for a speedy recovery

Terrible news! Bossie's a tough guy. Prayers for he and his family!

Hectic, but its a risk we take upon ourselves.
Where did this happen and how is he doing?

So sorry to hear this. Will include him in my prayers.
Bruce

Prayers for all involved, especially Bossie.

If you don’t want to get hurt, don’t go hunting. Bad luck. Bossie or a client wanted to kill that buffalo.
Why blame a wild animal which just defended itself?

Prayers for a speedy recovery!!!

All the best Bossie. Hope you are up and back in the game soon.

Are you out of your mind? I read the thread three times now to see what you are talking about. Nobody blames the buff. The thread is here to inform members regarding the event and keep us posted regarding his recovery.

Bossie was tracking a wounded buffalo with an arrow in it. I know, he is a professional Hunter doing his job following up an animal wounded by a client. Yes he signed up up for the risk.... But it still sucks when a fellow hunter, professional or not, gets hurt. And it stings even more when it is friend who gets hurt.

Godspeed in your recovery Bossie. My prayers are with you and your family.

Why don't you have a good look in the mirror and try to figure out just what kind of a human being is looking back at you before you post something like that on a thread like this?

Ok so got some more details.
They have been tracking this buff a few days and had bumped him several times. Long short, Bossie was gored through leg leg around the knee, in the abdomen, and has several broken ribs. Biggest concern at the moment is infection. Seems like he will recover well but he may have a hitch in his giddyup for a bit.

Prayers for this man and his family. Speedy recovery to Bossie.
All of us should remember this incident when hunting dangerous game! I Do not know Bossie but from everything I’ve heard over the years he is an excellent PH who knows what he is doing.
Even someone who is experienced as he can be ambushed by a wounded animal.
Some hunters take DG hunts lightly and don’t prepare as they should so be warned and reminded ..........Cape Buffalo, Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Rhino and Hippo can do us great harm.

Don't know the man but wish him a speedy recovery and a return to his profession.
