American kidnapped in Uganda

Wow, praying for a safe return of the American and her driver.

God help that lady at the hands of those subhuman animals. I shudder to think what she may be going through.

My Niece and her husband are Missionaries in Uganda...this headline made me gasp!

Had a friend who was right 5here last summer with his wife and daughters.
Hope they authorities can get them back.

She will be in our thoughts.
Tarbe, will also keep our hearts open to your missionary friends.
Jason, be alert.

At least the kidnappers have asked for money and negotiation is possible.

The young Canadian woman that was kidnapped months ago in Burkina Faso has reportedly been taken to Mali. No one has taken responsibility.

I hope both these young people are brought home safely.

"Naivete in Africa is not advantageous to one's health."

true, AND SADLY ALSO TRUE IN MANY PARTS OF THE WORLD,
INCLUDING THE SO-CALLED CIVILIZED COUNTRIES.

Paying any Ransom is not the answer! but a problem!! Pay once when does it stop?

I will always be a Soldier! and NOT a piss ant politician! In a soldier's mind there is ONLY ONE WAY to deal with these kind of "Bas***d's"!

Same way to deal with poachers!!!

NON Negotiating, just total death and destruction!!! With NO QUARTER!! for Either such Criminal!

That is why it has been the position of the govt to not pay ransom.

My money's on our government ops guys knowing where she and the kidnappers are and presently developing or executing a plant to extricate here.

She has been rescued according to Uganda military.

CBS news reports that woman and driver released unharmed. Great news................and hopefully true, although CBS. Queen Elizabeth National Park will suffer some hard times now..................FWB

My contacts in Kenya (Safari outfitters) state the ransom was paid by the Safari outfit. So as many has said before expect this to happen again

Paying money is going to backfire on them and the only ransom they should have been paid was a thousand rounds of minigun from a Little Bird.
