My New 450 Dakota

Thanks for sharing my excitement, even though she’s been “broken in” by Cody. :(

Wayne puts out some dandy rifles and I am glad to be renting this one for a spell.

Beautiful, but not too pretty to hunt with :)

I hunt with my CZ 550 in 500 Jeffery Wayne worked on (not an AHR rifle though and not as pretty as yours)

You haven’t seen Cody’s 470? Makes this rifle almost look plain! The other side is even better!

Definitely want to take it hunting.

My initial range trip is making me think this rifle could possibly find its way to Zim in August.

Hmmm....450/400 with a 300gr TSX at ~2,500 as a PG combo? Then the 450 Dakota for Buffalo!

Nice rifle! Really like the wood, hope it shoots as good as it looks.

For the record - No rifle is to pretty to not take to the field! Stocks can be refinished, metal work can be brought back to new... But each new scratch or dent tells a story of time in the bush and every rifle deserves a chance to tell a story.
