I bought this some time back to build a custom on. I decided to go another direction so I'm passing this on. It's in sound original condition. I have never shot it. No pop up peep.
$950 shipped CONUS to your FFL

How does the barrel look inside? What had you planned earlier to do to the rifle?

Can antone tell me if there is any rhyme or reason why some have the pop up peep? Date made, caliber etc.

From my understanding the pop up peep was on some of the ZKK actions only between 1966-1976 and done away with after that. I spoke with Wayne at AHR the other day and he told me that he has a guy that will install a replica exactly like the BRNO peep on a CZ550 action, I don’t see why it couldn’t be done on a BRNO action either. It is certainly a cool feature to have on a rifle.

Did he quote you a price

@Scott CWO The board is near perfect. I doubt it has been shot very much. That’s one of the reasons I purchased it initially.
I bought it to send to AHR for a custom build. I decided to go a different direction and never did anything with this rifle.

I’ll soon be posting a 1909 Argentine DWM Mauser, a 1908 Brazilian Oberndorf Mauser and a 1908 Carl Gustav Swedish Mauser that were all going to be customs but I’ve decided to go different directions.

@Bullthrower338 Thank you for asking the question as I have the very same thought. I just picked up my new favorite mid bore bolt gun. IE a Bruno BBK 602 in 375 H&H. It is in the original box with both triggers and bolt take down tool. It has never been shot. The gentleman I purchased it from got it at a estate sale where it had been sitting in a safe for a long time. I am currently sorting out a recoil pad to get it to my LOP.

@AWLee I know someone looking for a 602 and I will pass along your info.

What an awesome find Dave! Congratulations

Congratulations guys! Excellent deal!

Helluva Deal!

Very pleased. Thankfully AWLee was patient. I was waffling since the stock didn't have cross bolts but prefer the higher comb on the rifle stock to the style CZ is offering now. Price drop made it even more difficult, but a local smith can handle the cross bolt install for me, along with bedding the action. No brainer at that point. It will serve me well as an elk rifle until I can get a PG trip set up.
