I am a nostalgia hunter, I identify with byegone times. On my two recent hunts we drove there in a 1954 Series 1 Landy, and on the next hunt it will be camping under canvas. Courteney boots, pith helmets, in fact Melville and Moon is a favourite store. I shoot a Ruger No1 in 375 H&H, soon to be replaced by a Verney double in 375 Flanged. My question, does anyone know of a safari provider that caters to this retro scene?

Thanks Brickburn, that looks like a lot of fun. I am thinking more 1930’s, I have been trawling but found nothing so far. Once we have done our retro camping safari around June I will write up something to post here. Herewith a picture from our last hunt, the Lee Enfield took a few impala and a warthog.

I have no doubt there are Outfitters that would be willing to cater to your fun hunt.
Just can’t pull one off the top of my head.
 
There was someone years ago who offered up what they called "Roosevelt Safari's" It was walking and portered. I was interested but if I recall, it was only for 2 clients.

It was walking and portered..............was that because the Land Rover broke down? :)
